Before your first commission,
the questions most often asked

How does a commission work?
  • One. An appointment at the atelier, or a visit to you - remote commissions are reserved for returning clients. The design is discussed and measurements taken, about 1.5 hours.
  • Two. A toile fitting, roughly 15 to 20 days later.
  • Three. Delivery of the finished garment, roughly 20 to 30 days after that.
What does a commission cost?
  • Suits, coats and evening wear from RMB 13,000; dresses from RMB 8,000
  • A single jacket from RMB 8,000; trousers, skirts and waistcoats from RMB 5,000
  • Made-to-measure tailoring, RMB 5,000 - 8,000
  • The final figure follows from cloth, technique, complexity, fitting adjustments and the written proposal.
