LADIAQUA Haute Couture (女小西高级定制) was founded by Li Zihan. Its brand practice began in 2018; its operating entity, Shangshan Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., was established in 2019. Its only current public appointment and reception studio is at East Gate, Phase I, Zone 3, Yu Tian Xia, Shunyi District, Beijing.
Rethinking Bespoke Womenswear
We do not serve the garment. We serve the woman who wears it.
Many people first associate bespoke womenswear with elaborate techniques, precious fabrics, handwork and a strong design presence.
They matter, but they are not the whole of a bespoke commission.
If a garment is technically complex and materially expensive, yet does not respond to the client’s body, role, occasion and emotional need, it may be refined, but not necessarily a piece that truly belongs to her.
