Li Zihan graduated from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology and studied under renowned Hong Kong master tailor Tse Chi Kwong. Her one-to-one couture practice focuses on understanding the client, analysing body structure, developing individual patterns, validating fit, controlling craftsmanship and building a long-term personal image.

For Li Zihan, haute couture is not about making a garment appear complex or expensive. It is about finding a precise, appropriate and unrepeatable expression across the client’s body, role, real occasion and emotional expectations.

Through years of one-to-one service, Li Zihan developed the Zihan Couture Design System. It organises the judgement traditionally held in a designer’s experience into a professional method that can be documented, reviewed and continually refined.

Beginning with the client, the system translates body information into fabric, structure and pattern decisions, verifies them through fittings, and develops an image that serves her real life and important moments.
